Education
Stefanie DECLERCK graduated summa cum laude from the Catholic University of Leuven with a Master’s of Laws in 2011. She majored in private law, focusing on the various aspects of civil law, including insurance and liability law, and minored in criminal law. She also studied European and international (consumer) law as part of her thesis.
Career
Stefanie DECLERCK was called to the Dutch Brussels Bar on the 1st of September 2011.
She joined the Paul MUYLAERT law firm in 2018 after having spent 7 years at other specialist law firms. Her areas of expertise include personal injury, medical and professional liability, construction law and transport law. She represents both individuals and companies in civil, criminal and disciplinary proceedings and in amicable negotiations.
Stefanie DECLERCK has also acted on several occasions in cross-border cases.
As the law firm is a member of the international network Insuralex, Stefanie DECLERCK represents the law firm at many international meetings on insurance law.
Stefanie DECLERCK handles cases in French, Dutch, English and German.
